The Money for Life Challenge Competition – it’s not too late to apply!

Date: 30 Nov 2013

Time: Ongoing

The deadline for the Money for Life Challenge is 22 November - so get your application in now!

For anyone who doesn’t know, the Money for Life Challenge is a financial capability programme where a team of learners (aged 16 – 24) accompanied by an adult sponsor can apply for a £500 grant to devise and demonstrate their own novel ways to teach others in their communities how to manage money. In addition to this, organisations can apply for up to five grants per site!

Last year’s competition was a roaring success. We had 250 submissions, and the young people involved inspired us with their energy, enthusiasm and brilliant ideas for how to tackle money management in their communities. A project could be anything from a piece of art, a dance, and music video to a community event  - in fact we welcome your ideas around how you could incorporate this work with what you are already doing.

The deadline for sending your project applications through is Friday 22nd November after which successful teams have until the end of February to submit their projects.

Please take the time to check out the Challenge video and if you are interested, please contact Warda Abdi on warda.abdi@toynbeehall.org.uk or call 020 7392 2993. Alternatively apply directly online:

Good luck!
