Why this survey?
A combination of rising living costs, rent levels and benefit cuts are causing housing and financial problems for thousands of private-renting households in the UK, with tenants in Tower Hamlets amongst the worst affected. Through this survey, Toynbee Hall’s Tenancy Talks project is hoping to engage with more households affected by the rising cost of privately rented homes and welfare reforms. The information collected will help us identify some of the biggest difficulties private renters face as well as promote the service to people who need it.
