On 1st October Toynbee Hall entered into a new three year funding agreement with Money Advice Service (MAS) to deliver and manage a pan-London debt advice service. The agreement brings together 27 debt advice delivery partners who, led by Toynbee Hall, will ensure that people in all London boroughs have access to a consistent level of high quality independent debt advice.

This agreement is the start of a new funding era for debt advice and will secure the future of debt advice in London for the next three years. With demand for advice growing year-on-year and estimations of over 37,000 people will need to access debt advice in 2014/2015, this is a significant step forward in providing people with the high quality help and support they need.

We are very excited to be entering into this new phase as the lead partner of this project. Last year our partner organisations saw over 22,000 people across London who desperately needed support with managing their debts. This project will mean that for the next three years we will be committed and resourced to help many more”.
Dolly Galvis, Head of Advice Services at Toynbee Hall
