Published: 13 Sep 2016
On Sunday 11th September, seven members of staff from Thomas Sinden, and our Director of Operations, Damian Brady, took part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride and collectively raised over £2600 for Toynbee Hall.
Thomas Sinden are a Construction services provider who were awarded the contract to regenerate the Toynbee Hall Estate. Over the next two years they will carrying major restoration works on our Grade II listed halls and create a new building that will house our service delivery and offer a mulit use area for the community.
Director, Graeme Sinden headed up the team alongside Clive Barker, Andrew Barnes, Mike Hughes, Richard Lamb, Will McCausland and Grant Salmon who took on the 54 mile cycle challenge which included a couple of gruelling hill climbs on the way. They were joined by our Director of Operations, Damian Brady.
Thank you to the guys at Thomas Sinden for raising an amazing amount of money for Toynbee Hall and for taking part in a really enjoyable day. I’d also like to thank everyone for all the support and sponsorship I received. If I ever offer to do this again just tell me to remember the pain on Turners Hill. That should make me see sense.”
Damian Brady, Director of Operations at Toynbee Hall
From everyone at Toynbee Hall, we would like to say a massive thank you to Thomas Sinden for their support. We hope you all enjoyed the day and weren’t in too much pain on Monday morning.
