Karen Hart joins our team for Vision 2020
Published: 12 Apr 2013
Karen Hart has joined Toynbee Hall this week as our new Estate Development Project Manager, and will play a leading role in Toynbee Hall’s Vision 2020 redevelopment plans.
Karen has previously been involved in Transforming IWM London, a major development at the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth, as well as other refurbishments and new builds including remodelling works at the Fashion and Textile museum in Bermondsey, a new adult learning centre in Manor Park Ilford, an extension at Newham College adding a women’s business centre and business start-up units.
Karen brings her experience to Toynbee Hall at a critical time for our redevelopment, which will include extensive conservation works to the building and will reveal the remarkable history of our charity. The redevelopment project will ensure we can continue to provide valuable services to our local community, as well as inspire a new generation of reformers to tackle poverty and disadvantage in the UK today.
Karen says, “I am delighted to be joining such a respected establishment as Toynbee Hall whose identity is so firmly rooted in the local community. I am very much looking forward to being part of its dynamic future plans and advancements, and I am excited by the prospect of the transformation ahead. I hope that I can bring my skills and experience to a project building solid future foundations for Toynbee Hall out of its past heritage .”
We wish her good luck and we will keep you posted on the development of Vision 2020!
