This course is designed for people working, paid or voluntary, in agencies and organisations concerned with financial inclusion or financial education in low-income communities. It leads to the award of a University Certificate in Professional Development (CPD - either at undergraduate (level 3) or post-graduate level (level M)).

Thanks to the generous support of The Co-operative and Transact, the course will, for the first time be held in London. The programme of studies will aim to deepen participants’ theoretical and practical understanding of poverty, over-indebtedness and financial exclusion.

It will explore a range of policy and other initiatives within Government, the financial services industry and the community and voluntary sectors aimed at promoting financial inclusion and greater access to financial services for people on low incomes.

The 5 day course will start on the 20th of September 2013 and will be held at Toynbee Hall.
